(Vienna, 22 May 2019) The Josephinum's fundraising campaign won a Silver Venus for its campaign music in the Music & Sound Design category at the CCA awards.

The "Help Me" fundraising campaign for the Josephinum, developed by the agency Himmer, Buchheim & Partner, was launched during the Long Night of the Museums in 2018. The aim of the cinematic staging is to fund the restoration of the wax models and to enable the public to see these unique exhibits in an original way while the conversion work is taking place.

The jury of Creativ Club Austria (CCA), made up of experts from the creative communications sector, awarded prizes to works that are exemplary and standard-setting in their particular disciplines. Works that win here always go on to win in other national and international competitions,: e.g. in ADC of Europe, Cannes, Effie, Clio, D&AD, LIA and Golden Drum. The CCA holds seminars and workshops for training and advanced training of Austrian creatives and young creatives. It is a member of the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE).

The Josephinum
The Josephinum was founded in 1785 by Kaiser Joseph II as a medico-surgical military academy and is the most prominent example of neoclassical architecture, as well as an important legacy of the Age of Enlightenment in Austria. It is the historical gateway to the Medical University of Vienna and houses the collections illustrating the history of medicine, including the unique anatomical wax models from Florence, impressive instruments, books, archives, manuscripts and personal papers. Today it remains an important place for teaching, research and the exchange of ideas about the history of medicine and medical ethics.

The Josephinum is currently closed to visitors due to renovation work, which will take several years.
