The HFMRC
At HFMRC a team of about 90 people from 17 countries develop new methods, software and hardware to advance MR technology.
The HFMRC is a research facility at MedUni Vienna, founded and led as a collaboration of MR research groups from "Radiology" and "Physics".
Modern infrastructure is key for internationally outstanding research.
At HFMRC three MR Scanners with a magnetic field strength of 3 and 7 Tesla are available for research purposes.
In addition we run a fully equipped radio frequency and hardware lab, and dispose of additional components for neuromodulation, MR elastography and MR-microscopy.
