On this day, students at MedUni Vienna will have the opportunity to watch a robotic kidney transplant via livestream from the operating theatre.
A kidney will be removed from a living donor using a minimally invasive technique and then transplanted. The individual steps of the operation will be moderated and explained by the team led by Oliver Strobel, Head of the Department for General Surgery.
