Building on the success of previous MedUni Vienna Spin-off Days, the Founders’ Lunch (FLOUNDERS) initiative, supported by the Technology Transfer and the Alumni Club, brings together researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs and innovation supporters from across MedUni Vienna.
Under the theme “From Research Insight to Healthcare Venture”, the event explores how scientific discoveries and unmet clinical needs can be translated into meaningful healthcare innovations that create value for patients.
Programme
The program combines inspiring founder stories, practical tools and exercises, open exchange and matchmaking, with a particular focus on early-stage projects. Through formats such as the Failure Clinic, Technology Transfer Office Hours, Founder’s Matching Wall, Clinicians’ Reverse Pitch and interactive Mentor/Mentee Pitch Lab, participants can explore the translational potential or their ideas, identify next steps towards a spin-out and connect with the experts and support entities to move ideas forward.
