Michael Peter Schaffarich 1959 - 2023
It is with deep sadness that we bid farewell to our friend and colleague Michael Peter Schaffarich, who passed away unexpectedly and far too soon.
Dear Peter, you were an institution for us, a repository of knowledge and solutions to practical problems that we didn't even know existed until they happened to us. You always had a sympathetic ear and your kind and selfless manner helped us to deal with challenges that were not always commonplace. You were a mentor to many, and indeed a father figure on the nuclear medicine floor.
Most importantly, you were a good friend.
We will miss you, your laughter, your humour, your visits to our offices, your tips and tricks, your calm and reassuring manner when things didn't work out, your company over lunch, your coin hunting stories and all the other good times we shared.
With these kind and unique memories, you will always be a part of us. Thank you for everything.
