(Vienna, 05 October 2023) This week, 680 first-year students of human medicine and 80 first-year students of dentistry began their studies at MedUni Vienna. Rector Markus Müller welcomed the first-year students at the "White Coat Welcome" in the Lecture Hall Center at MedUni Vienna.
As a welcome gift, the new students received MedUni Vienna lab coats. They used the evening to make first contacts with their fellow students.
For the first-semester students, who had qualified for their study places by means of the MedAT admission procedure, the study of human medicine or dentistry now begins. The courses of the new winter semester also start this week for the students in the higher semesters.
