(Vienna, 24 March 2026) Inna Tulaeva from the Institute of Pathophysiology and Allergy Research at the Medical University of Vienna has been selected to participate in the 75th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. The interdisciplinary meeting will take place in Lindau from 28 June to 3 July 2026.
The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings are among the most internationally renowned networking events for early-career researchers. Around 75 Nobel Laureates and more than 600 young scientists from all over the world are expected to attend the 75th edition. The 2026 meeting has an interdisciplinary focus and brings together the Nobel disciplines. Participation offers selected young scientists the opportunity for scientific and personal exchange with Nobel Laureates as well as with outstanding young researchers from around the world.
According to the organisers, the programme is aimed at particularly promising young scientists and is intended as an international network for scientific dialogue.
At the event, Inna Tulaeva will have the opportunity to present her work on the HBV preS-based recombinant peptide carrier vaccine – a project she has been continuously developing since the start of her PhD studies under Rudolf Valenta. Research into allergen-specific immunotherapy against grass pollen has yielded a promising vaccine candidate against hepatitis B, for both preventive and therapeutic use. A clinical trial has already been completed (NCT03625934), and the publication is currently being prepared.
