(Vienna, 29 May 2026) – During the Innovation Symposium 2026 at the Medical University of Vienna), MedUni Vienna and Ring Street Health GmbH signed a strategic cooperative agreement aimed at accelerating the development and international commercialization of healthcare innovations emerging from academic research.
The agreement establishes a structured framework for collaboration between MedUni Vienna and Ring Street Health to help translate scientific discoveries into practical applications benefiting patients and healthcare systems. The partnership focuses on identifying, evaluating, and developing company formation opportunities based on MedUni Vienna research, while also creating international access to leading healthcare innovation ecosystems. MedUni Vienna is one of Europe’s leading medical universities with a strong translational research and clinical infrastructure. Ring Street Health, headquartered in Vienna, specializes in building innovative healthcare companies and maintains strategic connections with institutions including Mayo Clinic and Harvard University. The collaboration includes regular joint evaluation of innovation projects, close engagement with MedUni Vienna’s Technology Transfer Office, and support for startup creation and commercialization activities. In addition, MedUni Vienna researchers and clinicians will benefit from access to international healthcare innovation networks and strategic collaborations.
