The Young Scientist Association has set itself the goal of improving and intensifying networking among young scientists at the MedUni Vienna and affiliated organizations. Hosting scientific events are as important for the platform as establishing a good exchange between graduates and the university.

Seminar on Single Cell RNA-Seq by Novogene
We are happy to invite you to the seminar "Unlocking the Transcriptome, one Cell at a Time!" hosted by Novogene. We hope you'll join us for an exciting talk on setting up scRNA-seq projects, followed by an open Q&A session covering sequencing and any other questions you may have for the Novogene team.

3rd Vienna ImmunoLectures
We would like to invite you to the third "Vienna ImmunoLectures" (VIL)!
This lecture series is a new monthly event series which is organized by the Immunology Research Cluster (IRC) (https://irc.meduniwien.ac.at/about-us/about-the-immunology-research-cluster/), the Young Scientist Association (YSA) of the Medical University of Vienna and the Next Generation Immunologists (https://oegai.org/next-generation/) of the Austrian Society for Allergy and Immunology (OEGAI; https://oegai.org). The VIL aims to provide interactive and high-quality lectures and a networking platform for Immunologists.
For the third VIL on May 15th, we are very happy that
Clarissa Campbell (CeMM - Center for Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences) and Thomas Weichhart (Institute of Medical Genetics, Medical University of Vienna)
will give lectures on "T cell regulation by bacterial metabolites" and "Metabolic regulation of tissue homeostasis by macrophages", respectively.
