With around 6.500 employees and 8.600 students, the Medical University of Vienna is one of the largest top-level biomedical research and teaching institutions in Europe. The Vice Rector’s Office for Education (Doctoral school) is looking for a part-time (20 hours per week) PhD Recruiting and Communications Coordinator (m/f/x) (with immediate effect). This is a contract for a duration of 1 year (with an option to extend).
Your Tasks
- Planning and implementation of communication measures for the PhD call; creation and maintenance of social media content as well as management and updating of website content
- Administrative handling of incoming applications; checking for completeness and formal criteria; communication with applicants
- Operational support in the recruiting process and at the welcome event; assistance in organizing on-site appointments; organization and scheduling of interview appointments; administrative follow-up and completion of the process
Your Profile
- A-levels or equivalent qualification
- Strong proven communication and content creation skills
- Proficiency in social media and website management
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
- High attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Professional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English required; German is an advantage

The minimum monthly salary for this position (Uni-KV, VerwGr. IIIb) is currently Euro 1.565, -- gross (14x per year) on a part-time basis and may be increased by taking into account relevant previous experience and other salary components related to the specificities of the job.
