Andrea Ebermann, our long-time colleague and employee at the Center for Public Health, passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2025. We have lost a colleague who did a lot for our Center and our university, always in her modest way, quietly without much fuss. Andrea Ebermann was the soul of the Children's University. She took on this great task years ago without hesitation to keep it going. She continued to implement the project with great commitment, drive and organizational skills. During the difficult times of the pandemic, she focused on innovation and made it possible for the children to attend the Children's University Meduni.
Her empathetic, pleasant and always friendly manner has enabled her to build up a whole team and network of committed students and lecturers.
She was always a supportive colleague, gracious in her dealings and carried out her tasks in the department and for the center with great care.
We all held her in high esteem and miss her. We are left with the memory of a very special person.
We sympathize with her family and wish them strength and comfort.
