10th place in THE Impact Ranking for ‘Good Health and Well-Being’
The Medical University of Vienna has also made a significant leap forward in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking 2025: In the category ‘Good Health and Well-Being’ (SDG 3), MedUni Vienna improved from 94th to 10th place worldwide.

The ranking assesses the contribution of universities to achieving the United Nations' global sustainability goals – particularly in the area of health and well-being. Among other things, it takes into account the quality of health research, the training of health professionals and (internal) university and social engagement in the health sector.
