(Vienna, 01 June 2021) An emergency with a new-born, a person in the trauma room following an accident. As from 01 June 2021, it will be possible to practice for these and many other medical emergencies in the University Simulation Center Vienna. The medical training centre has been set up in Floridsdorf Hospital as a joint initiative of Vienna Healthcare Group and the Medical University of Vienna.
Occupying a total of 1,000 m² of floor area and equipped with the very latest simulation technology, the new Center is capable of recreating many realistic simulation scenarios and offering varied training approaches for all groups of medical professionals. Due to Covid, the course offering over the summer will still be restricted but it is planned to start full operation in the autumn of this year.
