Preclinical Molecular Imaging @ AIT
The AIT Austrian Institute of Technology is Austria’s largest non-university research institute focusing on the research and development of key technologies for tomorrow’s innovations. Located in south of Vienna, the AIT hosts a modern state-of-the art preclinical imaging facility in close proximity to a medical Cyclotron and a Good-Manufacturing Practice (GMP) PET-Radiopharmacy.
The Preclinical Molecular Imaging (PMI) group has specialized in quantitative positron emission tomography (PET) imaging and is established as a professional research and service partner for preclinical and translational research.
This seminar talk will provide a short overview about the history of PMI and the current progressions of AIT as a service provider for preclinical imaging. Additionally, a comprehensive overview about all ongoing research activities and capabilities will be presented. The last part of the talk will elaborate all potential options for collaboration projects with interested research groups from the Medical University of Vienna.
