All of us are heavily engaged in our daily work. Besides, there is an intensive turnover of students and postdocs. Therefore, we often overlook, what is going on in the labs and research institutions next door within our own university. The Center for
Biomedical Research and Translational Surgery initiates together with the Core Facilities and other Research Centers a series of “open lab days”. The idea is simple: “get to know your neigbours and what they do”.
It is my pleasure, to invite you all to the kick-off of this series on the 6th June 2024 at 3.00 pm for a tour of ourcenter. We have invited Herwig Czech as a special guest, Professor of the History of Medicine at our University. His talk will be dedicated to the fundamentals of our University, a brief history of “Wiener Medizinische Schule”. Please register as soon as possible, so that we can organise the lab-tours accordingly.
