Das European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction der EU veröffentlicht jedes Jahr den European Drug Report als Übersicht zu den aktuellen Entwicklungen auf dem Gebiet des Drogenmissbrauchs und zu Behandlungen, Präventionsmaßnahmen und politischen Entscheidungen zu diesem Thema. Am 2. Juli 2019 (16 Uhr) wird im Rahmen einer Veranstaltung an der MedUni Wien der European Drug Report 2019 präsentiert und von ExpertInnen kommentiert
