Technological advances have led to a drastic increase in the number and classes of identified RNA molecules in all kingdoms of life. Several novel classes of RNAs have been identified in recent years that regulate and fine-tune the expression, turnover, and decay of genetic information. Participants of the SFB 43 RNA-REG are studying the complex network underlying these RNA-regulated processes using different model systems. The RNA-REG conference will bring together researchers studying RNA-regulated processes in all areas of biology, providing an overview on novel discoveries and arising challenges.
