The Department of Clinical Pharmacology, founded in 1992, is a clinical institution at the Medical University of Vienna. Due to its close collaboration with the other clinical and diagnostic divisions and departments of MedUni Vienna and Vienna General Hospital, one of the largest medical centers in Europe, it has access to a wide range of medical and scientific resources.
Its clinical services, research and teaching have been at the top level of science for many years, so that the Department of Clinical Pharmacology also enjoys an excellent international reputation. This also applies to the training it offers, which aims to give students a better understanding of the daily practice of drug therapy and also of longer-term research and development procedures.
