As an up-and-coming pediatric heart center, we have steadily expanded the spectrum of treatment, both surgical and catheter-interventional, especially in recent years.
As part of quality assurance, we enter our figures and results into the surgical EACTS database and are involved in ÖBIG's quality assurance interventions. In addition, as part of the ISO-certified Vienna General Hospital, we record key figures for quality improvement in the outpatient and inpatient areas. Only through these measures is it possible to incorporate structural improvements and medical progress into the treatment of our patients in the long term.
