Member of the Scientific Committee of AGES PharmMed. European Expert at the EMA, 2011–2017. Alternate Member of the EMA’s Committee for Advanced Therapies (CAT). Course leader for the ULG Clinical Research programme at MedUni Vienna. Sub-investigator or principal investigator in over 50 clinical drug trials at the University Clinic for Clinical Pharmacology.

ChairBorn in Vienna, studied medicine in Vienna, completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University Psychiatric Clinic, Department of Biochemical Psychiatry. Since 1995, research assistant at the Institute of Pharmacology; 1997–2001, research associate at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York. Habilitation in 2001 in the subject of pharmacology and toxicology.
Member since 2010; Chair of the Ethics Committee at the Medical University of Vienna since April 2016. Member of the ethics committees of the City of Vienna, the Province of Lower Austria and the Karl Landsteiner Private University in Krems.
