(Vienna, 10 October 2017) Precision medicine is the most significant medical trend of the 21st century and will provide optimum treatment for patients for many different diseases and targeted prevention in the case of known risk factors. The right treatment with the right dose at the right time for the right patient. Precision medicine does not restrict itself to the superficial assessment of symptoms. It attempts to identify the exact cause of the disease at a molecular level. This hugely increases an individual's chances of recovery.
