The Ignaz Semmelweis Institute is a consortium comprising MedUni Vienna, MedUni Graz, MedUni Innsbruck, Johannes Kepler University Linz and the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna.
The Institute is dedicated to research into infectious diseases with the aim of gaining a better understanding of pathogens and diseases, and developing countermeasures such as therapeutics and vaccines.
