Oral presentations
You will have 7 minutes for your presentation and 3 minutes for a short Q&A. Please send you slides beforehand to ysa-symposium@meduniwien.ac.at with the subject line “Oral presentation slides YSA symposium 2026”.
Poster presentations
You will have 3 minutes for your poster presentation followed by 1-3 questions to your poster. The format is A0, portrait. Please ensure to attach your poster before your session starts and to remove it afterwards, as other students will need the space.
Additionally, this year we will have a digital poster wall where all posters will be displayed during the symposium. Therefore, please also send your final poster to ysa-symposium@meduniwien.ac.at in PDF format with the subject line “Poster YSA symposium 2026”.
Please note: the digital poster wall is in a test phase this year, therefore sending your poster as PDF is optional, but printing it in A0 is in any case obligatory!
Poster Slam
You will have 1 minute for your Poster Slam. Please prepare a single PowerPoint slide to captivate the audience and entice them to visit their poster.
Remember: the session is supposed to be more lively than a usual poster session to pitch your work in a fresh and engaging way.

Please stick to the time limits, as this will qualify you for winning a presentation award.
