Research interests
My initial research focus was cardiovascular imaging by means of computed tomography, with a special focus on the imaging of the peripheral arteries in close collaboration with the Technical University of Vienna (AngioVis Research Group). After becoming a board-certified radiologist, I was a research fellow at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, for 19 months to extend my research focus towards Interventional Oncology. After my return to the Medical University in 2015, I established a new research group focused on Vascular Imaging and Interventional Oncology (https://radnuk.meduniwien.ac.at/viio). So far, I have published over 50 scientific articles.
