My name is Monika Posch, I am a qualified teacher and a certified Montessori teacher. I work as a teacher at the Heilstättenschule on level 8. As such, I am responsible for the children of compulsory school age, but I am also happy to help older pupils if they have specific concerns. In the subjects English, Turkish, BKS, handicraft education and religion, we have appropriately trained specialist teachers at the station who we can call on if necessary.
Taking into account the child's state of health, we try to continue or deepen the subject matter of the respective school level.
As I work with the children individually, I can respond precisely to the needs of each child. We can also catch up on missed lessons together. In one-to-one lessons, we can make optimum use of the time. It is very helpful if the child brings their own school supplies to the hospital, preferably a fully packed school bag. If children are on the ward for a longer period of time, we also contact the school of origin. Then, for example, schoolwork can also be written at the hospital school. But there is also a lot of playing and painting here.
