Research interests

My research within the Christian Doppler Lab for Inner Ear Research mainly focuses on translational research with the aim to help better understand and treat diseases of the inner ear. By performing experiments in small and large animal models, I investigate cochlear implantation trauma, novel pharmacotherapies, and drug delivery strategies. Besides my lab work, I study clinical outcomes following vestibular schwannoma surgery.
