Long-term ECG (Holter monitoring)

The long-term ECG makes it possible to carry out an electrocardiogram (ECG) over a longer period of time. This examination method is used to reflect "real" life. The children are encouraged to spend a completely "normal" day, with the small difference that they receive an ECG over the planned period (usually 24 hours, i.e. day and night). This examination enables us to accurately assess and interpret the heart rhythm, heart rate and possible arrhythmias.
