The 3rd MIC-Festival “Driving the Evolution of Medicine with Imaging” combines international expertise and local enthusiasm in a joyous, cooperative and holistic setting.
A keynote lecture will widen our horizon beyond medical imaging, followed by impulse presentation on the topics shaping our future: Image-guided Therapy, Translational Imaging and Big Data. The MIC nodes invite you to take part and interact actively in a virtual poster tour through the most innovative and exciting topics related to medical imaging presented by young scientist. Finally, a dynamic roundtable discussion with representatives of all MedUni Vienna clusters aims to highlight the future role of medical imaging and enables to ask arising questions.
Programme Highlights
- Keynote lecture by Dr. Kirsten I. Bos, Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History, Jena
- “Multi-Cluster Round Table“ with MedUni Vienna Cluster representatives
- Dynamic virtual poster tour

Dedalus & MIC

Fujifilm VisualSonics
FUJIFILM VisualSonics specifically focuses on developing ultrasound technology that has been scaled to much higher frequencies than commonly found in many of the conventional ultrasound systems on the market today. As a result, our ultrasound platform provides images at resolutions that far exceed any other system available on the market; as fine as 30 micrometers, clearly differentiating our company from our competitors.
