How the Cancer Research Run works
1. Registration & Documents
Register online by making a donation.
You will receive your race number and lap card by post in September or directly on site on the day of the event.
2. Flexible start – whenever and however you like
The Cancer Research Run is completely flexible: you can start between 10.00 and 14.00 – whenever suits you best. Whether you run, walk or take a leisurely stroll – you set your own pace and distance.
3. The route
The run takes place on the University campus Altes AKH or as Distant Run. One lap is exactly one mile long – that is 1609 metres.
4. Counting laps
Have your lap card stamped in the start/finish area after each lap. This way, your contribution is visible – lap by lap.
5. Your certificate
After your run, your personalised certificate will be waiting for you – as a lovely memento and a thank you for your support of cancer research.
