In addition to universities/adult education centers, the following facilities provide information on the university entrance exam:
Do you enjoy insurance coverage as a person admitted to the university entrance qualification exam?
As an extra-curricular student you are obliged to pay the Students Union contribution, and thus a member of the Austrian Students Union (ÖH), and therefore covered by accident and third-party liability insurance via the Students Union. The contribution is charged in conjunction with the Students Union contribution. Persons admitted to the university entrance qualification exam are covered by accident and third-party liability insurance for the outward journey, the way home and time spent in university buildings. For persons admitted to the university entrance qualification exam, as well as regular students, the opportunity also exists for self-insurance at preferential contribution rates with the responsible regional health insurance scheme (GKK).
