Registration for the University Entrance Qualification Examination for Mature Students (SBP)

Before you register for the University entrance qualification examination for mature students (SBP), you find out as much as possible about the study programme you are interested in on the homepage.


Online Application

Please apply online at

You take the steps in the application mask and after sending the application you track the status of your application. You will be contacted via the application mask.

Documenst to be submitted

Please upload the following documents in the application mask if you meet the requirements,

  • the application,
  • birth certificate, and where appropriate marriage certificate,
  • passport or certificate of nationality in connection with an official ID card,
  • CV (education) and
  • proof of specific educational background for the targeted study programme (certificates)

The original documents must then be presented at the time of enrollment.

Information about the recognition of exams already taken at other educational facilities can be found in the stipulated application form for recognition.


Admission

Following a review of your application, in the event of fulfilment of the requirements, a positive decision is issued by the Rectorate of the Medical University of Vienna concerning authorisation to take the University entrance qualification examination for mature students (SBP)  as an external student.

Until the University entrance qualification examination for mature students (SBP) has been taken in full, you shall notify the continued authorisation to the University entrance qualification examination each semester by payment of the Student Union fee. Tuition fees, according to § 91 of the Universities Act 2002, shall not be paid.
