Research interests
My research areas are applied health economics, health policy and health inequality. My work focuses on the institutional causes behind disparities in healthcare utilisation and their implications for the financial sustainability and equity of healthcare systems and includes collaborations in demographic research and occasional within-trial health economic evaluations.
Techniques, methods & infrastructure
I have used a range of microeconometric approaches in my research, such as quasi-causal research designs (difference-in-differences), statistical decomposition (Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition) and spatial models.
