Research interests

My research sits at the intersection of health and economics, encompassing three core areas: the appraisal of the economic burden of diseases, quantifying the direct and indirect costs borne by patients, healthcare systems, and societies at large; the application of health economic modelling approaches for the assessment of cost-effectiveness of healthcare interventions; and evidence synthesis methods, such as systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses, to consolidate and build on existing research. While my interest spans a range of therapeutic areas, the economics of mental health represent my primary area of expertise and focus.

Techniques, methods & infrastructure

My methodological expertise includes economic evaluation and health economic modelling, alongside evidence synthesis techniques such as systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses. I further have experience and a keen interest in survival analysis methods.
