The Vi-CaN organising committee calls for original work to be presented as poster presentation at the 1st Vi-CaN Symposium 2026. The posters should focus on recent advances in the field of cancer biology, metabolism, immunology, cancer nutritional sciences and clinical sciences. The committee highly encourages submission of poster abstracts of innovative and interdisciplinary projects that may cross-link these fields, especially when addressing directly the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying cachexia.
Abstract Submission Rules:
- All abstracts must be submitted as PDF with a maximum size of 10 MB to the following email address: vi-can@meduniwien.ac.at
- Size limit: max. 300 words. Please use the abstract template and strictly follow the scheme for the sections: Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion. Authors and Affiliations section do not count to word limit.
- Abstracts should be submitted in the following manner: Vi-CaN-Symp-2026-(PRESENTING-AUTHOR-LAST-NAME).pdf
