Research interests
My research focus is endovascular aortic repair, may it be in the arch, thoracoabdominal or abdominal, with special regard to the different stentgrafts used. My ultimate goal is to further improve patient experience and outcomes. In order to reach this goal we are evaluating currently available devices, analyzing and highlighting potential for improvement and actively develop new solutions. This is facilitated by a multidisciplinary working environment in conjunction with the cardiac and vascular surgery under personal guidance from Assoc. Prof. Martin Funovics.
