Research interests

As a biologist (anthropology) my scientific background lies in the cell biology and molecular biology. Currently, I am responsible for clinical development and act as internal project manager of the clinical phase II study MARSYAS II. Prior to that, I worked in the field of cellular transformation in acute myocardial infarction in porcine in vivo models (Department of Cardiology) and could gain experiences in soft tissue-engineering and wound-healing research (Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna). My PhD thesis discusses the application of fibrin sealant in wound healing (Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Experimental and Clinical Traumatology and Baxter Bioscience / Biosurgery).
