Research interests
My research team is dealing with all aspects of eating disorders with a special emphasis on anorexia nervosa in adolescence. Biological, psychological, psychiatric, and psychosocial research is performed in young people including children, adolescents and young adults. Child psychiatric epidemiology, quality assurance in psychopharmacological treatments (therapeutic drug monitoring), internet-based treatments, microbiota- interventions, preevention measures for health issues, and migraine in children and adoelscents are main research topics of this interdisciplinary team over recent years.
