Research interests

1. The application of noninvasive molecular/biomarker techniques for the assessment of functional mechanisms in the body (especially in the cardiovascular system and malignant diseases). Brief to identify new biomarkers, validate potential biomarkers and conduct translational biomarker research for clinical translation.

2. Biomarker discovery on systemic medicine/biology via multi-omics methods, on high dimensional data.

3. Advanced nuclear imaging techniques targeting blood flow, metabolism and autonomic nervous system of the heart, glucose-lipd metabolism as well as fibroblast activation in malignant tumors. 

4. Novel multi-omics techniques as radio-genomics, radio-pathology and radio-immunology, Rapid translation of novel tests from research to patient care is at the center of his work.

5. Building robust AI solutions that enable reproducible and transparent research, in order to facilitate early disease detection, precise disease characterization and to refine the choice of therapy.
