Research interests

My research interests focus on Public Health Nutrition. I address public health challenges such as malnutrition and obesity. I examine the interaction between dietary behaviour, digital food environments, and public health interventions. My research focuses on understanding and transforming digital food environments, including food marketing on social media, particularly influencer marketing. By combining nutrition science, digital innovation, and effective communication, my research aims to promote healthier food environments. Another focus of my work is the development and evaluation of digital tools for nutrition screening and monitoring in clinical and public health settings. My work also contributes to obesity prevention through school-based programmes and strategies to reduce sugar consumption, as well as through prevention strategies for shift workers. Additionally, I contribute to public health nutrition policy.
