I completed my Bachelor and Master studies in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Lübeck, Germany and conducted my Master thesis research in Boston at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine. Currently, I am a PhD student in Medical Physics at the Medical University of Vienna and mainly interested in the design and development of small endoscopes and catheters that can be used to perform optical coherence tomography, a noninvasive imaging method, in vivo.
