Research interests

My main research focus is to establish a link between patient treatment and research. The research is designed as close to clinical activity as possible, both in the field of dental materials and in the field of cell culture with oral primary cells.

Techniques, methods & infrastructure

  • Cell cultures using primary cells and cell lines; analyzes of proliferation and differentiation, on the genetic and the protein level; analyzes of viability and morphology.
  • Mechanical testing and of dental materials in combination with human or bovine tooth structures.
