Das CCR Green Day-Event am 3. April 2024 im MedUni Wien Lehrzentrum, konzentriert sich auf Nachhaltigkeit in der wissenschaftlichen Forschung und umfasst Vorträge zur Reduzierung des Einsatzes von Laborplastik, Energieeinsparung, Abfallmanagement und der Integration des CCR in eine grünere Stadt. Zu den Höhepunkten gehören Diskussionen über nachhaltige Krebsforschung, Fortschritte seit dem letzten Green Day und konkrete „greenCCR-Neujahrsvorsätze“ der CCR-Mitarbeiter:innen, alles mit dem Ziel, die Umweltauswirkungen zu minimieren und gleichzeitig die wissenschaftliche Forschung voranzutreiben.
