Cardiovascular disease is the most common cause of death world-wide. It is also the leading cause of hospital admissions and of physical disability and a major cost burden in health care. Diagnosis, treatment and research endeavors focusing on these disorders therefore require close collaboration across medical specialties. The Cardiovascular Cluster is a multidisciplinary research structure which aims to facilitate synergies between basic and clinical investigators that span the spectrum of cardiovascular research.
This year’s Annual Meeting of the Cardiovascular Cluster will be held on November 22 in the Van Swieten Hall of the Medical University of Vienna. We have invited excellent speakers from inside and outside, who will cover the areas of basic cardiovascular biology as well as and clinical research.
In addition, the recipients of the Collaborative Cluster Grants 2023 will present their work and give an update on their research results.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at this get-together to further strengthen the cardiovascular community at our University.

Junge Wissenschaftler:innen sind aufgerufen, Abstracts ihrer wissenschaftlichen Themen einzureichen. Nach Durchsicht aller, entscheidet das wissenschaftliche Komitee, ob die Arbeiten als Poster oder in Form von Talks präsentiert werden.
Einreichungen anhand des Beispielabstracts sind bei Helga Badelt-Lichtblau bis zum 1.11. möglich.
