My research aims to enhance the effectiveness of devices designed for the mechanical circulatory support of patients with heart defects, focusing on the development of a rotodynamic blood pump for Fontan patients.
Techniques, methods & infrastructure
To evaluate and assess the hydraulic performance of a device as well as its hemocompatibility, various techniques are employed, including test benches for hydraulic characterization and blood experiments.
