Research interests
As a PhD student and clinical psychologist, my main research focus is mental health and stress in children, adolescents, and young adults. Particularly, I'm interested in how emotional granularity (= an individual’s ability to make fine-grained, nuanced distinctions between similar emotional states) contributes to the mental well-being of adolescents with stress-associated disorders. My aim is to deepen the understanding of the mechanisms that underpin emotional granularity and, thus, to gain knowledge on how interventions may improve one's ability to differentiate between various emotional states.
