Research interests

As a PhD student and clinical psychologist in training, my main research focus is mental health and stress in children, adolescents, and young adults with post-COVID-condtion. My aim is to gain deeper insights into perceived stress, post-traumatic stress, psychological distress and autonomic dysfunction in individuals experiencing post-viral psychological and neurocognitive symptoms. These findings are to be gained in the project "LongCOVID-Fighters" - a treatment programme for adolescents and young adults with post-COVID-condition, combining clinical-psychological treatment, biofeedback, cognitive training, self-management training and mindfulness/yoga exercises.
