Research interests

My research focusses on analyzing key characteristics and processes of the epithelial-mesenchymal transition in melanoma cells. I am investigating the migratory behavior of poorly and highly metastatic cells to compare the differences and thereby identify underlying cellular processes of cell migration.

Techniques, methods & infrastructure

  • Cell and tissue culture
  • Confocal microscopy
  • Life cell imaging
  • 3D collagen matrix engineering
