Wir entwickeln quantitative MR-Methoden, um beispielsweise biochemische Prozesse im Gehirn und Körper sichtbar und messbar zu machen.
Metabolische und quantitative MR-Methoden sind unsere Leidenschaft.
Unser Fokus liegt auf der Entwicklung und klinischen Translation neuer MR-Methoden für molekulare und metabolische Bildgebung. Dabei erforschen wir insbesondere MR-spektroskopische Bildgebung, Deuterium Metabolic Imaging, CEST, Diffusionsbildgebung, X-Kern-MRT und KI-gestützte Rekonstruktion und Quantifizierung.
Wir arbeiten am High Field MR Center mit modernster 7T- und 3T-MR-Infrastruktur und entwickeln Methoden von der Sequenzentwicklung über Datenakquisition, Bewegungs- und B0-Korrektur, Rekonstruktion und Qualitätssicherung bis zur Anwendung in klinischen und translationalen Studien. Ziel ist es, Stoffwechsel, Gewebestruktur und Funktion im Gehirn und Körper nicht-invasiv sichtbar und quantitativ messbar zu machen.
