Abstract:

Elisabeth Stögmann, MD, Associate Professor at the Medical University of Vienna, is a senior neurologist specializing in Alzheimer’s disease. She serves as Head of the Outpatients Memory Clinic. Her research focuses on genetic and biomarker-based approaches to early diagnosis and risk prediction in dementia. She has served as Principal Investigator in numerous national and international, peer-reviewed research projects and clinical trials, including major EU Horizon 2020 studies and pharmaceutical Phase I–III trials. Dr. Stögmann has secured over €1.4 million in funding as PI at her institution. She is currently President of the Austrian Alzheimer Society. Her academic contributions include over 100 peer-reviewed publications, and active supervision of PhD and diploma students. She is a frequent invited speaker at international conferences and collaborates with institutions across Europe.
